The U.S. Lacrosse Michigan Hall of Fame honors "lacrosse people" who have brought the game to Michigan, fostered it’s growth and added greatly to the experience of others playing the game or who have demonstrated greatness in playing the game themselves. We have a special eye for people that have been early proponents of the game in order to preserve the history of lacrosse in Michigan and to honor them. We look to honor both the men and women of the game.
There are many different ways that people can be involved in the game and to help its promotion and quality. People can play, coach, officiate, promote, and administer. We consider all these categories and of course combinations of them. We welcome any suggestions that the Committee can consider when it looks to add to the Hall of Fame.
Please use the following form as a guideline, not an absolute set of criteria, to suggest people as inductees to the Hall. Not only do we consider their lacrosse activities but also their attitude toward the game and their fellow participants. This nomination may be made at any time. If current year nominees are in discussion, new nominations will be considered for the next year.
Please send any nominations to Bob Stevenson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
